Sweater TWO: The Overlook
Sweater TWO: The Overlook
The Overlook Sweater is an all-over colorwork all-gender sweater pattern. It’s knitted top-down with German short row shaping and raglan increases. This is an advanced knitting pattern. You are expected to understand sweater construction, follow a chart pattern, work increases, carry floats, and work stranded colorwork at the same time. The trickiest section is the German short rows. This pattern is charted.
The front/back of the sweater are modular charts. The pattern includes three different options. Wendy, the hallway with Danny and twins, and the hedge maze. All sleeves are modular.

Pattern fundamentals:
This pattern achieves its size range by manipulating the overall pattern gauge. Each set of charts works for three different sizes. This makes meeting gauge critical to garment fit. I have a very loose gauge, if you are a tense knitter you may find yourself sizing up your needles. This pattern is also highly modifiable to allow for you to tailor the sweater to yourself. The yoke length, body length, and sleeve length are all adjustable. Trying on the knit regularly will make the best version of The Overlook sweater.
The pattern is designed to have 2-4” / 5-10cm of positive ease.
