Meet the Artist

 

Hi! My name is Unity Nebesniak (they/them & he/him), and I make things. I'm a surrealist artist whose work focuses on the human body, environment, decomposition, and queer identity. I make decorative functional pottery that ranges from hand-built sculpture on thrown forms to abstract stream of consciousness underglaze paintings. I also love to crochet critters and clowns. Or little critters as clowns. I've been creating my whole life and am always up to some new mischief.
